Santa Tom's Background

Santa Tom first donned his red suit for friends and co-workers while he was still in high school. In 1988, he got his professional start at the Boulevard Mall in Amherst, NY. After a brief stay in Pittsburgh, he moved to Toledo in 1993. Since then, he has appeared at Downtown Wonderland, Lights Before Christmas at The Toledo Zoo, and Heralding the Holidays at The Toledo Botanical Garden. In 2006, Santa Tom presented a workshop on Santa's Wardrobe at the first ever Real Bearded Santa Convention.

Santa Tom takes time throughout the year to study ways to improve his ability to provide an authentic visit for you and your family or business. He also attends various workshops and conventions. In September 2010, he attended a full day Autism Awareness seminar, in order to be able to provide better service to families with children on the Autism spectrum.
