Santa Tom's Background

Santa Tom first donned his red suit for friends and co-workers while he was still in high school. In 1988, he got his professional start at the Boulevard Mall in Amherst, NY. After a brief stay in Pittsburgh, he moved to Toledo in 1993. Since then, he has appeared at Downtown Wonderland, Lights Before Christmas at The Toledo Zoo, and Heralding the Holidays at The Toledo Botanical Garden. In 2006, Santa Tom presented a workshop on Santa's Wardrobe at the first ever Real Bearded Santa Convention.

Santa Tom is also an experienced actor and singer. He has appeared on stage in Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Bowling Green, Ann Arbor, Monroe, and (of course) Toledo.
